LSU First Updates for Plan Year 2010-2011
- No expected increase in premiums for 2010-2011!
- Fertility drug lifetime maximum increased from $5,000 to $10,000
- Term-life insurance, for Employees and Retirees only, increased from $20,000 to $25,000 -You receive this benefit automatically just by participating in LSU First
- NEW! $25,000 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance added to LSU First for Employees and Retirees Only -You receive this benefit automatically just by participating in LSU First
- The Mental Health Parity Act is now in effect for LSU First. All maximums for substance use disorder and mental health benefits have been removed

Annual Enrollment has begun!
This is the time to elect or make changes to your health coverage. Please contact your Human Resources Department for information on meetings near you. The Office of Group Benefits (OGB) will begin their Annual Enrollment period on May 3rd and end it on May 21st. As a result, the LSU First Annual Enrollment period will be extended through May 21st.
